The Independent Food Distributors of Australia (IFDA) continues to lobby on behalf of the foodservice industry to get support for businesses that have been hit the hardest by the Omnicron wave.
It comes as NSW welcomes the $1 billion support package that includes financial support for small business to buy rapid antigen tests (RATs) and a new Small Business Support Program to assist businesses to help keep their workers employed.
Although not everything that IFDA had asked for was included, it is a still a recognition by NSW of the impact Omicron has had on the foodservice industry.
